Let us know what you're selling by filling in the form and we'll get back to you with a competitive estimate as soon as we can.
If you like our estimate and want to proceed, either bring your gear in to the store or we can arrange a courier (usually free!). All you need to do is package the items appropriately for collection.
If your items are as described, we'll confirm the estimate (in person on online) and either transfer the money directly into your bank account or arrange the discount on your new gear.
Don't worry! Just give it your best guess and include as much information as you can in the full description box. Photos always help too. We'll base our estimate on the information you give us and once we check your gear in person we’ll adjust the quote up or down if appropriate. Obviously you are free to accept or reject any offer.
No problem. You can change your mind at any point, right up until we pay you for your gear.
If you haven’t heard back from us in a couple of working days, check your junk mail folder as it may have been flagged incorrectly as spam by your email provider. If it's not there, give us a bell on 01206 368999 or send us a follow up email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Nope, not a problem.
If you're happy with our initial estimate we're happy to arrange courier collection. We might ask you to send us more photos of your gear first, just to double check its description and condition. All you'd need to do afterwards is package up your gear and make it ready for collection. We'll send you full instructions once we've arranged an appropriate courier service
Cards on the table. We'll always offer you our best price on your gear but we are a business and at the end of the day we have to turn a profit. Even ignoring the day to day cost of running the store, buying in gear (new or used!) is always a risk and there's never a guarantee that we'll be able to sell it on. When we do sell gear we have pay the VAT which isn't the case for personal sales on auction sites. Also, just because gear is listed at a certain price in an auction doesn't mean that it'll actually sell for that price.
Honestly? Maybe.
However it might take you considerably longer as there's no guarantee that you'll actually find a buyer. Also, unless you are lucky enough to find a buyer locally you'll have to bear the cost of shipping your gear which can be surprisingly expensive and also factor in the fees from payment services like PayPal or Worldpay.
Once we've checked your gear and given you a final estimate, what you've been offfered is 100% what you'll end up with in your pocket or as credit against new gear. No hidden costs.
