What are RSS news feeds?
RSS News feeds let you see when we have added new content to our site, for example news products in our online catalogue, news items, kits in the "Show Us Your Kit" galleries. You don’t have to keep visiting our site just to check if there are new items – you will be kept up to date automatically and all for free!
How can I view the news feeds?
In order to view RSS news feeds you need a News Reader. This might be built into a piece of software you already use (such as Internet Explorer 7 or Outlook 2007) or it might be a separate program altogether. News Readers periodically check the websites to which you have subscribed and let you read any new or updated articles.
Once you have your News Reader, you can choose which content you want to receive, either by clicking the orange RSS button (for browser based readers such as Explorer) or copying & pasting the link into your News Reader.
Where can I get a News Reader? Several of the latest Internet Browsers (IE7, Firefox) and the latest version of Outlook (2007) can read RSS feeds directly. Alternatively there are many News Readers to download, many of which are free.
