New server - speed demon site!


Ok folks - first an apology. We're really really sorry that our site has been so horrendously slow over the past few weeks.

For several years we have used a (top of the range) shared hosting package which initially coped fine. However, it has become more and more unable to cope with the amount of traffic the site now gets (3 million hits last year!) and so we have bitten the bullet and moved the site to a dedicated server. Since we now get all the server's system resources to ourselves the site should now be as quick as your Net connection allows!  

If you get any issues can you PLEASE email me and let our webmanager Chris know - chris@soundattak.co.uk He's spent ages setting it up and testing it but you never know
